Social Events

Welcome party

A party for first-impression. A small dinner with new pharmacy friends from everywhere. After the dinner is finished, we have a small game and orientation. One of main activity is an ordinary Thai welcome ceremony held by the RCs.

Just be yourself and enjoy the evening.

International night

A big party which each country would get to show their activity or performance. Lots of fun and spectacular scene not to miss. Afterwards, there will the Auction for items from all over the region. So it is a big event for everyone! Prepare yourself for the performance and prepare your wallet for the auction.

Traditional night

We will be having a Thai-style dinner in a unique location with a Thai ordinary atmosphere. The RCs and other actors will be doing a performance about Thai culture and history. Everyone is also welcome to a Thai-dance together at the end of the performance.

Community service activity

We will be doing some social-work at a handicraft school in Khonkaen. Mostly group activities such as a small sports competition and playing music.

Cutural Visit

Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakorn

Is a 9-storey stupa Located in Wat Nong Waeng, a royal temple on Klang Mueang Road, the Phra Mahathat houses relics of the Lord Buddha and important Buddhist scriptures. Doors and windows of the 9 storeys of the stupa are beautifully carved, featuring the life and former reinearnations of the Lord Buddha, 16 classes of visible deities in the Brahma’s world, and Buddhist rites. Murals within the stupa feature history of the town. The top floor, on the 9th storey, houses relics of the Lord Buddha.

King-Cobra Village

In Ban Khon Sa-nga, Nampong district, some 49 km. from town, the village is famous for its exciting snake show such as catching and feeding cobras and king cobras.

Sirindhon Dinosaur Museum

The museum was named by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. A two-storey building, its interior is filled with mysterious walkways guiding visitors to travel back in time to the Palaeozoic Era. Walking through the tunnels, visitors reach various exhibition halls about Geology, the beginnings of the Earth and how it was formed, as well as the evolution of living creatures such as dinosaurs and humans.

The museum's outstanding exhibits include life-sized skeletons of the many significant dinosaur species discovered in this area, such as Phuwiangosaurus sirindhornae, Siamosaurus suteethorni and Siamotyrannus isanensis. In addition, also displayed in the museum, is the actual archaeological dig-site where fossils of six dinosaurs were unearthed from the same bedding-plane.

Gala night

The final night of the APPS, full of memories and celebration. The Gala night is held at the Hotel’s Poolside Hall.
