Message from Chairperson of 7th APPS Reception Committee


Hi fellow Asia-Pacific pharmacy students,

The Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium is the biggest event of APRO and also an important part for IPSF. It is a big gathering where pharmacy students can find inspiration and friendship. This is the 7th time for the symposium and also Thailand’s 2nd time to be host.

For me, my first baby step into IPSF was the 5th APPS Indonesia which the event was a way lot more than I expected. It is a very good opportunity to learn about the current Healthcare issues and great experience meeting other people who share the same profession and interests. Each year the APRO is growing bigger and bigger, which you can see from many new association coming together. APPS is just like another chapter in the IPSF-story to initiate the upcoming year with motivation and enthusiasm.

So I would like to welcome you all IPSFers to another warm and joyful symposium held by PSUT Thailand in "The land of smiles".

Dear IPSF Asia Pacific friends,

On behalf of IPSF, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 7th Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium (APPS) in Khon Kaen, Thailand.

The APPS is an excellent opportunity for you to meet fellow students from all across Asia Pacific. The Thai Reception Committee has gone to considerable effort to prepare a program for you which is both fun and informative.

I am confident that all the APPS delegates will gain invaluable experiences and unforgettable memories in this beautiful country. I encourage you to make the most of every opportunity and to make some life-long friends at this unique event.

Message from APRO
Once upon a time in APPS 2008 Khon Kaen, Thailand !!

          Welcome all delegates to this extravagant APPS at Khon Kaen, Thailand which will be held during 25th June-3rd July, 2008. APPS had held in Thailand for the first time back at five years ago and now APPS are going to be held once again in Thailand. Joyful and impressive experiences will again be given to all along with ancient environment and traditional customs of Northeastern part of Thailand. Moreover, pharmacy spirit of Asia Pacific region will be reunited by having all pharmacy friends gathering to share experiences or health related projects in their own country. Besides, this is the first time of APPS for PCE or Pharmacy Counseling Event to be held in APPS, so let’s join and share the first experiences ever which you won’t never forget.
